The second ODI between the women’s cricket teams of India and Ireland:
On Sunday, January 12, at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, India’s women’s cricket team made history in their second One-Day International match versus Ireland women.
After being allowed to bat first, India scored 370/5 in their 50 overs, their highest-ever total in ODI history. They beat the previous record of 358/2, which they also achieved in a 2017 match against Ireland. India won by 249 runs in the match in Potchefstroom, with hundreds from Deepti Sharma (188) and Punam Raut (109).
Jemimah Rodrigues scored 102 runs in 91 balls on the strength of 12 boundaries on Sunday, smashing her first ODI century and becoming India’s highest run scorer.

Important half-centuries were scored by Harleen Deol (89), Pratika Rawal (67), and captain Smriti Mandhana (73), in addition to Jemimah.
