Actor Khesari Lal Yadav, who made his mark in Bhojpuri cinema with his very first film, does not need any identity today. Shatrughan Yadav's name came after Khesari Lal entered the industry and today he has become a superstar of Bhojpuri film industry. But there was a time when Khesari used to do some odd jobs for just Rs 10.
Bhojpuri stars like Khesari Lal Yadav, Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua), Amrapali Dubey and Rani Chatterjee had appeared in an episode of Kapil Sharma's comedy show. During this, Kapil asked Khesari about his early days, to which Khesari replied.
Kapil Sharma said to Khesari Lal, 'You are a superstar of Bhojpuri industry, so how did you start Khesari ji?' On this, Khesari Lal said, 'When I used to take 1 liter milk, I used to add two pounds of water in it.' On this Kapil Sharma asked, 'Did you sell adulterated milk?' On this, Khesari Lal laughed and said, 'No, it was not that, I also had to steal Rs 10.' On this, everyone sitting there started clapping and Kapil Sharma again asked, 'Why did you steal these 10 rupees?' Then Khesari Lal further said, '10 rupees were a lot for me at that time. Whenever he got 10 rupees, he used to go to Bhado fair, eat jalebi and eat sweets.

After this, Nirahua, who is laughing for a long time, says, 'Once I forgot to mix this water at home, on the way I remembered that there is a pond in our village which is called a pond. Parked the bicycle there, opened my container and filled water after looking around in Pokhara. Early in the morning a woman came out and said - Hey Khesari ji, give me some milk worth Rs. 2. Now as soon as he went to give the milk, a small frog jumped into it. As the child jumped, the woman threw the milk and ran away, asking, "What are you doing?" What kind of milk is this? A baby frog is jumping out of it. So Khesari ji said - If you buy milk worth two rupees, then the baby frog will not jump, then will the baby elephant jump?
Khesari Lal had told that he is the son of a farmer and used to do different types of work to help the family financially. This includes many tasks including distributing milk, selling Litti-Chokha. Khesari Lal's first Bhojpuri film was Saajan Chale Sasural (2012) which was a hit. After this he did many films which became hits and Khesari Lal is also very popular in singing. His songs remain trending on YouTube.
