Madrid: Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is on Spain tour these days. Here he is on an official visit for two days i.e. on 13-14 January. During this, the Foreign Minister addressed the Indian community. He emphasized India's growing global stature and its ability to provide meaningful assistance in challenging times.

S Jaishankar said that India-Spain relations are at the pinnacle of significant progress. He spoke about his association with the Spanish Diplomatic Community. Jaishankar said that he had been invited by the Foreign Minister of Spain to address the country's ambassadors at a global conference. He said that this happened for the first time.

Referring to the new India, the External Affairs Minister said that we are known for our economic strength and leadership at the global level. He said that today we are the fifth largest economy. Which is moving towards becoming the third largest economy.

Jaishankar said that India is today seen as a country contributing to the global conversation. There are very few countries which can talk to Russia as well as Ukraine. He also mentioned the Prime Minister's visit. Said that PM Modi had gone to Russia and Ukraine also. Very few countries can talk to both Iran and Israel.
