The International Cricket Council (ICC) declared on Tuesday that Annabel Sutherland, a star all-rounder for Australia, was the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for December 2024.
Sutherland excelled for Australia in December 2024, helping her side go undefeated in five One-Day Internationals (ODIs)—three against India and two against New Zealand—according to an ICC announcement. She won Player of the Series for both series and three Player of the Match accolades for her outstanding play.
Sutherland won the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for December 2024, surpassing Smriti Mandhana and Nonkululeko Mlaba, because to her all-around excellence, which solidified her position as an important player for Australia.
