is currently adding another string to her bow in her already impressive career as she takes to the ice to show off her newly learnt dance moves in the 2025 series of .
Best known for fronting The Really Wild Show from 1993 to 2006, the naturalist then went on to become a regular reporter on BBC's Countryfile.
Since 2011, Strachan has been a regular presenter on BBC's Springwatch and its seasonal adaptions - Autumnwatch and Winterwatch - showing off more of her expansive knowledge surrounding the outdoor world, from animals to plants and everything inbetween.
While many Brits are familiar with the 58-year-old's presenting career, not all will be aware that she once tried her hand at a different venture off-screen. The TV star embarked on a brief music career under the stage name Michaela back in the late 80s and early 90s.
During the brief stint, Michaela released two singles - H.A.P.P.Y. Radio (1989) and Take Good Care of My Heart (1990). The music hits reached number 62 and 66 in the UK Singles Chart, respectively.
After ditching singing herself, she went onto host the music show The Hitman and Her between 1988 and 1992 with Pop Idol judge Pete Waterman.
Because of her musical background, audiences of The Masked Singer believed Michaela to be the 'mushroom' in the 2022 edition of the show. However, it was later revealed to be Charlotte Church instead.
The band Scouting for Girls also brought Michaela back into the world of music as they dedicated a song to the wildlife expert called Michaela Strachan You Broke My Heart (When I Was 12). This appeared as a hidden track on their 2007 debut album at the end of the song I Wish I Was James Bond.
Michaela also previously showcased an entirely different talent - gurning. In 2002, while filming for Countryfile, Michaela entered the World Gurning Competition at Egremont Crab Fair, a traditional festival on the West Cumbrian coast. She won the Ladies' World Gurning Crown.
In 2021, the star responded to a fan asking for pictures with a snap from the event.
She wrote: "I became the female world gurning champ at the Egremont Crab Fair in Cumbria in 2002 having entered because we were filming for @BBCCountryfile. Never lived it down!"
