Today i.e. 21st January is the 39th birth anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant Singh gave many memorable films in Bollywood, but his career started with TV serials. Sushant, a resident of Bihar, came to Delhi and studied engineering here, but in the meantime joined a dance group. When he got a chance, Sushant went to Mumbai and here he got a chance to work as an actor in Ekta Kapoor's serial.
Sushant Singh Rajput, born in Patna in the year 1986, studied from Delhi Technological University. However, Sushant left his studies midway. Many people think that Sushant's first serial was 'Pavitra Rishta', but it is not so.
On August 7, 2020, Ekta Kapoor shared a video. In its caption he wrote, “Many people were asking me which was Sushant's first scene…this was the first scene that I shot. This was his first scene, when he was seen on television for the first time, the serial whose name is 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil'."

In the same caption, Ekta Kapoor further wrote, “He was the second lead in this, but we knew he could have done better than this and he did. Lots of love, peace and prayers.” In 2009, Ekta Kapoor made another serial, named 'Pavitra Rishta' and in it Sushant was cast as the lead actor, in which his female lead was Ankita Lokhande. This serial became a hit and then after that Sushant Singh moved towards Bollywood.
Sushant started his film career in 2013 with the film 'Kai Po Che', which was a hit at the box office. After this, Sushant Singh did films like 'Shuddh Desi Romance', 'PK', 'Detective Byomkash Bakshi', 'Raabta', 'MS Dhoni: Untold Story', 'Kedarnath', 'Sonchiriya', 'Chhichhore'.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were close to each other during the shooting of 'Pavitra Rishta'. She got popularity in every household with the name of Manav-Archana in the serial. Both of them opened their relationship and expressed their love for each other publicly. Later, both of them broke up around 2016 and after about a year, Sushant got into a relationship with Rhea Chakraborty.
