Strictly Come Dancing fans have been reduced to tears as yet another show favourite has suddenly pulled out of the tour.
Professional dancer Vito Coppola has announced that he won't be able to participate in the rest of the live tour after sustaining an injury.
The news comes after the 32-year-old was forced to withdraw from a string of arena shows earlier this month due to a previous back injury. Fellow pro dancer stepped in to take his place.
Taking to on Wednesday (January 29), Vito shared a clip of himself and his celebrity partner Sarah Hadland—whom he affectionately calls Trilly—as they were declared champions in Liverpool.
"This is the way I would like to remember this tour, Trilly. Even though I won't be able to be with you on the Strictly Arena Tour, we had the chance to dance one more time together and it has been as always super beautiful and memorable," the star wrote.
Vito then revealed that he would be rooting for Sarah as she continued the tour without him and said that he was going to "take more care" of his body while he took some time away from dancing.
"Thanks to you all, beautiful people, for the support, for the lovely messages, and for everything you constantly do for me. You make me feel loved and warmly welcomed," he concluded.
Fans quickly took to social media to share their sadness after learning the news, with one writing: "Vito has had to pull out of the Strictly tour due to injury, and I am BEREFT."
"Vito confirming he's not doing any shows on Strictly tour what if I CRYYYY," another added, while a third said: "I can't believe I won't see you on Saturday Vito in Manchester. You are the reason I love Strictly so much and I was so excited to see you."
A fourth fan echoed the sentiment: "Gutted I didn't get to see you two perform together. Sending you all the love in the and take care of yourself," with many others sharing their well wishes.
Vito's departure follows Wynne Evans' announcement that he had been axed from the remainder of the tour after making a crude joke to his co-star Janette Manrara.
"I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. Apologies to those I won't get to see at the remaining performances and I'm grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me," Wynne shared in a statement.
