Series and movies have taken up most of our time especially when it comes to series as there are plenty available on these platforms. Today we are going to talk about one such series that has taken the internet by storm. This 9-star rated series released in 2020 made its lead actors famous. Additionally the series was remade in different languages including Tamil and Telugu. The original series which we are discussing revolves around an engineering graduate who ends up working in a rural village and deals with several mundane challenges. The series had three instalments and featured the same cast in all three seasons. Let us tell you it was one of the most loved series in Hindi and is available on Amazon Prime. The series we are talking about is none other than Panchayat. The first season of Panchayat premiered in April 2020 and its IMDb rating is 9. The lead actor of the show was Jitendra Kumar. Apart from him talented actors like Chandan Rai Raghuveer Yadav Neena Gupta Pankaj Jha Ashok Pathak Faizal Malik and Durgesh Kumar  in key roles. Seeing the success of Panchayat the makers (TVF) came up with a Tamil series named Thalaivatiyan Palayam in September last year. This is the Tamil remake of Panchayat and it was well received by the audience. The lead role in Thalaivatiyan Palayam was played by Abhishek Kumar. Like Panchayat the Tamil version of the series was also highly appreciated. Thalaivatiyan Palayam offers all the elements youd find in Panchayat but with a regional twist incorporating several local jokes. Meanwhile the Telugu remake of Panchayat is titled Shivarapalli. As for the visual depiction of Shivarapalli it is intriguing and different from the original. The IMDb rating of the show is 8.4 and it features Raga Mayur in the lead role.
