BPL Ration Card : The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the Family Identity Card Scheme, which aims to provide the benefits of government schemes to the families easily and effectively.
1. Family Identity Card Information:
This will be a 12 digit family card, which will contain details of the entire family.
Through this card, families will get the benefits of government schemes.
Families who did not have ration cards earlier will not face any problem now. They will get a family identity card, through which they will be able to avail the benefits of government schemes.
Cards will be made through Assistant Development Officer and Village Secretary of Gram Panchayats.
Application can also be done online, for this a mobile number linked with Aadhaar will be required.
This scheme is a process of creating a live database, in which the details of every family will be saved.
Through this scheme of one family, one identity, the benefits of government schemes will reach the families directly.
The work of making cards has started from November and till now about two hundred family identity cards have been made.
At the block level, BDO and village secretary are monitoring this work.
197 secretaries and 1024 assistants have been deployed in 1148 Gram Panchayats, who are completing this process properly.
With this scheme, families will get the benefits of government schemes even without ration cards. This scheme will provide official identity to the families of the state, which will facilitate the distribution of their government benefits and other facilities.
