Healthy and Tasty Sprouts BHEL recipe

Sprouts required to make BHEL

  • Sprouted moong - 1 cup
  • roasted peanuts - 2 tablespoons
  • Sour-sweet chutney - As per taste
  • Boiled potato - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Cucumber - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Pomegranate - 2 tablespoons
  • Carrot - 1 (grated)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - As per taste
  • freshly ground black pepper - ½ tsp
  • Spice - ½ tsp
  • chilli powder - ½ tsp
  • Finely sev - For garnish
  • Coriander leaf - For garnish

Method of making sprouts bhel

  1. Prepare sprouts:
    • Soak moong for a day.
    • The next day, remove the water and keep them tied in cotton cloth, so that it sprouts.
    • If there is a shortage of time, you can also buy readymade sprouts from the market.
    • Steam the sprouts lightly, so that they become soft and easily digestible.
  2. Cut the vegetables:
    • Finely chop onion, tomato, cucumber and boiled potatoes.
    • Grate the carrots and take out pomegranate seeds.
  3. Mix all the ingredients:
    • Put sprouts in a large pot and mix all chopped vegetables, peanuts and pomegranate seeds.
    • Add chaat masala, black pepper powder, red chili powder and salt and mix well.
    • Now add lemon juice and sour and sweet chutney and mix again.
  4. Garnish and serve:
    • Finally garnish by adding fine and fresh coriander leaves.
    • Serve sprouts BHEL immediately and taste healthy and tasty!
