Pakistan’s film and drama stars couple Gohar Rasheed and Kubra Khan have initiated all the wedding ceremonies formally by hosting grand Dholki Night in which many showbiz celebrities were spotted dancing and singing. Some of the videos from the night have now surfaced on social media and are trending there.

The duo is known for their memorable performances as Sheerin in “Sang-e-Mar Mar” and Shaukat in “Digest Writer.” Soon, they will get married. According to the fans, it is their deep friendship and close bond that might have made them want to marry each other.

After all the denial regarding the wedding buzz, Kubra and Gohar finally confirmed it just days before the start of the festivities, bringing cheers from their fans in January. The celebrations started with a Dholki Night, where the couple shared their happiness with close friends and family.

The dholki night was performed by actress Momal Sheikh and her husband Nadir Nawaz. It was the couple’s first dholki, but perhaps more friends might host similar celebrations in the coming days. Viral photos and videos from the event show Shehzad Sheikh, Abdullah Kadwani, Ali Rehman, Sana Shahnawaz, Momal Sheikh, Ali Safina, Hira Tareen, and Khakan Shahnawaz enjoying the occasion and celebrating Kubra and Gohar’s happiness.

Besides the fabulous pictures, the event was packed with energetic dance performances and music. Momal Sheikh shared a post featuring photos and a video where the bride and groom were seen dancing happily to the dhol beats. Director Wajahat Rauf and his wife, Shazia Wajahat, joined in too and danced along with the couple.

To enhance the celebration, singer Imran Ali was invited to perform, mesmerizing the audience with Bollywood songs. In one of the viral videos, everyone is seen gathered in a room, singing together, while Umer Alam energetically dances to the Bollywood song “Beedi”. Another video captures Hussain Rizvi and Shazia Wajahat dancing to Imran Ali’s rendition of “London Thumakda.”

Fans have been excited and enthralled by the couple’s wedding events as newly released videos and photos from Dholki Night keep flooding social media.
