The heritage corridor, taking shape between Kaiserbagh to Hussainabad, will become a bouquet of charming views with the heritage of Lucknow. In this, a glimpse of Lucknow's Tehzeeb, art and culture will be seen. Along with this, there will also be a flavor of well -known cuisine here. Dr. Roshan Jacob, Chairman of Lucknow Development Authority, has constituted a heritage committee for the work being done in the heritage zone.

Prathamesh Kumar, vice -president of Lucknow Development Authority, said that the food court built in Hussainabad for Rs 9.75 crore has been launched. Five well -known restaurants of the city have operated in the ground floor of the food court. Apart from this, the golden saffron restaurant on the first floor and the Rumi Cafe on the terrace are open. Tourists here can enjoy the delicious dishes of Lucknow at one place.

The work of the museum block being constructed at a cost of Rs 21.61 crore next to it has also been completed up to 97 percent. Tourist Facilitation Center is also being built in the museum, where the history of the state will be displayed on the LED panel. Similarly, a Fragrance Park has been developed near the hour house at a cost of Rs 3.41 crore. Horticulture work is being done by NBRI in the park, as soon as the park is completed, the fragrance of flowers will arise. To upgrade Hussainabad Heritage Zone, the work of placemaking, pavement etc. has been done at a cost of about 2.40 crores. Also, the street and delicious street are being built.

Kaiserbagh Charahe's glory started appearing

LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar said that the work of beautification and Fasad Improvement of Kaiserbagh intersection has been done at a cost of Rs 2.50 crore under Andh-A-Awadh. With this, the heritage look of Charahe has started appearing. At the same time, placemaking works are being done on the route at a cost of about 2.68 crore rupees. Apart from this, the work of external development of Kothi Darshan Vilas Gulistan-e-Iram has also been completed up to 70 percent. In this sequence, RFP is being invited to select the operator for the operation and maintenance of cafes, fountains, library lawns etc. in Amiruddaula Library.

Begum Hazrat Mahal Park started shining

Begum Hazrat Mahal Park, located near Parivartan Chowk in Hazratganj, is also shining. For this, LDA has done various beautification works in the park at a cost of about Rs 8.54 crore. Currently all the fountains of the park are operated and the new globe is attracting the attention of the people. Apart from this, the work of redevelopment and beautification of Butler Lake being done from Rs 3.45 crore is in the final stages. At the same time, the work of conservation and restoration of Butler Palace Complex and Gate has been completed up to 70 percent.

Heritage Committee will monitor

In order to complete the work being done under the Heritage Zone and Smart City with quality and artistry, the Mandalayukta has formed the Heritage Committee. Retired IAS officer Zohra Chatterjee, Dr. Vandana Sehgal, Dean of AKTU Architecture and Planning Department, film maker Muzaffar Ali, Rani Meera Ali, actor Anil Rastogi, former Principal of Arts College, Jai Krishna Aggarwal, writer and storyteller Nilesh Mishra, writer Nilesh Mishra, writer presenter Yatindra Mishra and Conservation Architect Antara Sharma and Shikha Jain etc. have been included.
