UPI transactions have not only eliminated the hassle of keeping cash, but have also reduced the need for frequent ATMs and cards. Keeping this in mind, the State Bank of India (SBI) has fixed the limit of UPI, so that customers can avoid unnecessary expenses. SBI has set a maximum limit of 10 UPI transactions per day for its customers. However, you can manage this limit according to your needs. What is the SBI UPI transaction limit?
State Bank of India has fixed the UPI limit per transaction for its customers at Rs 1,00,000. This applies to all UPI apps. That is, you can send up to Rs 1,00,000 to anyone from your SBI account at a time. Apart from this, the bank does not allow its customers to do more than 10 UPI transactions per day. However, SBI has not set any limit for monthly or annual UPI transactions. That is, customers can do UPI transactions any number of times in a month or year.
How to change the UPI transaction limit
If you want to customize the UPI limit in your SBI account, you can manage it through the SBI YONO app. To change the SBI UPI transaction limit, follow these steps:
- Log in to SBI net banking or the YONO app.
- Click on the ‘UPI Transfer’ option.
- Go to ‘Set UPI Transaction Limit’.
- Enter your internet banking password.
- After viewing the current UPI limit, enter the new limit.
- If the current limit is Rs 1,00,000, it cannot be increased but can be decreased.
- Enter the new limit and click on ‘Submit’.
- The new limit will be set after OTP verification.
