Bhopal Traffic Diversion For Feb 24: Bikes & Cars To Be Diverted From Roshanpura; Heavy Vehicles Diverted From Gandhi Park; Check Full Traffic Plan

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Heavy traffic diversions will be in place during the arrival of the Prime Minister at IGRMS on February 24. During PM’s arrival from Rajbhawan to Manav Sangrahalay heavy vehicles will be diverted from Roshanpura to Polytechnic Crossing, Gandhi Park to Machhlighar, Retghat to Kamla Park, Scout Guide trisection to Polytechnic Crossing, Akashvani to Bharat Bhawan since 8 am.

Two and four wheelers from Roshanpura to Retghat, Control Room trisection will take the route to Link Road-1 to 1250 Satpuda, District Court, Old police control room to Talaiya and Moti Masjid since 8 am.

The students going to appear in examinations will have to use the restricted route 15 minutes before the VVIP movement or have to use alternate routes. During the PM’s movement from Manav Sangrahaly to State Hangar, the passenger buses will be diverted from 8 am.

Buses from Indore and Ujjain will enter Lalghati from above the bridge and will reach Halalpur bus stand. Buses from Rajgarh to Nadra bus stand will use Mubarakpur bypass to Gandhi Nagar trisection, Karond best price trisection to JP Nagar. All heavy and commercial vehicles with permit will be restricted from Polytechnic Crossing to Kamla Park, Retghat, VIP Road, Lalghati, Gandhi Nagar trisection since 8 am.

They can use alternate routes from Bharat Mata Crossing, Bhadbhada Crossing, Sakshi Dhaba Crossing, Neelbadh trisection, Nathu Barkheda Road, Mugalia Chhap, Khajuri Sadak, Khajuri Bypass trisection towards Mubarakpur Crossing. The two and four wheelers at 10 am will be diverted from Polytechnic Crossing to Kamla Park, Retghat, VIP Road, Lalghati, Gandhi Nagar trisection, and from Polytechnic to Kamla Park trisection.

Vehicles from Bairagarh, Airport , Airport and Rajgarh Byavra may take the route from Bharat Mata Crossing, Bhadbhada Crossing, Sakshi Dhaba Crossing, Neelbadh trisection, Nathu Barkheda Road, Mugalia Chhap, Khajuri Sadak, Khajuri Bypass trisection towards Mubarakpur Crossing. During PM’s programme at Kushabhau Convention Centre at 3 pm, heavy vehicles, two and four wheelers will be restricted from Roshanpura to Police Control room, Machhlighar to Gandhipark trisection.

However, two wheelers and four wheelers may use the alternate routes. Vehicles from Sehore, Indore will use the route from Bharat Mata Crossing, Sakshi Dhaba, Neelbadh, ratibadh to Jhagaria while vehicles towards Sehore, Indore, Rajgarh, Beora will take the route from Prabhat Crossing, JK Road, Gandhi Nagar trisection.

Different routes

The guests and foreign delegations will reach the GIS venue from different hotels. Guests from Hotel Taj will use the route from Bhadbhada Crossing, Bharat Mata Crossing, Smart Park, Tribal Museum crossing to gate number-1 of Manav Sangrahalay.
