Patna: The Masaurhi Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) said on Monday that a truck and tempo collided late yesterday night on Noora Bridge in Masaurhi, Patna, killing seven persons and injuring numerous more.

The Masaurhi SDPO reports that seven people were killed yesterday night when a truck and a tempo crashed on the Noora Bridge in Masaurhi, Patna. A number of other people were hurt and are in the hospital. The truck and tempo both slid over the bridge due to the severity of the crash.

Locals contacted the police and hurried to the spot. Officials said that attempts are being made to identify all of the fatalities after rescue operations were completed.

“The crash immediately claimed the lives of seven persons. The status of several wounded people who have been admitted to the hospital is still serious,” the SDPO said.
