ICAI CA January Result 2025: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) may soon release the results of the CA Intermediate and CA Foundation examinations for the January 2025 session. The results of these examinations will likely be declared in the first week of March. CA and CCM Dheeraj Khandelwal have shared information in this regard. Candidates will be able to check their results by visiting the official website icai.nic.in.
Dheeraj Khandelwal posted on his official x (formerly Twitter) account, "The result of CA Inter and CA Foundation January 2025 examination may come in the first week of March." Candidates have to get their results by entering their registration number and roll number.
What information will be in the result?
The CA Intermediate exam result will include the following details:
Candidate's name and roll number
Details of marks obtained in Group 1 and Group 2
Overall qualifying position for both groups
Total marks obtained
Along with this, ICAI will also declare the names of the toppers of the CA Foundation and the Final examination.
Exam Conduct and Passing Criteria
The ICAI conducted the CA Foundation exam on 12, 14, 16, and 18 January 2025. At the same time, the CA Intermediate exam was conducted between 11 to 21 January 2025.
Group 1 Exams: 11, 13 and 15 January
Group 2 Exams: 17, 19 and 21 January
To pass the CA Foundation exam, it will be mandatory to get a minimum of 40 marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate. At the same time, candidates who get 70% or more marks in total will get a certificate of "Pass with Distinction".
The next step for CA Inter passed candidates.
Candidates who have passed the CA Inter exam and are looking for articles can now register for CA Final, provided they have completed ITT and GMCS. This process will help them save 6 months while preparing for the CA Final exam.
