Marian Rivera, hailed as the Philippines’ “most beautiful celebrity,” graced an event in Manila wearing a deep V-neck dress by Vietnamese designers Tra Linh and Viet Trinh.
The actress chose a green cut-out dress adoned with crystals for the “People of the Year 2025” event on Tuesday, where she was honored with the “Person of the Year” award. She paired the design with strappy sandals and a Bvlgari bag.
The design was crafted by Linh and Trinh in one month, inspired by the original piece from their “Slay” collection.

“Grateful for this incredible recognition from People Asia! Honored to be part of the ‘People of the Year 2025,’” she wrote on Instagram.
This marks the second time the Filipino actress has selected a piece by the Vietnamese designers. Previously, Rivera wore a white dress adorned with 3D orchid flowers by the same duo for her 10th wedding anniversary photoshoots.
At 41, Rivera is a Spanish-Filipino actress, television host, model, and entrepreneur. She began her entertainment career at age 20 in 2004 and has since gained recognition for her roles as heroines in romantic dramas.
In 2020, Forbes named her one of the top influential and celebrated Filipino celebrities in Asia.
