Under the direction of BJP Khammam district president Galla Satyanarayana, numerous leaders and activists from throughout the district visited Khammam city’s polling places and urged voters to support Puli Sarvottam Reddy, their candidate for the Khammam Nalgonda Warangal Teachers MLC constituency, in order to ensure a landslide victory.

The TSUTF Union were enraged at the BJP’s move, and a heated argument broke out. The BJP called for an apology after the opponents reportedly insulted the prime minister.

Scuffles broke out between CPM and BJP leaders as tensions rose. During the conflict, several of the site’s tents were teardown. Both groups were dispersed by the police.

Even though the leaders of the CPM party’s affiliated union teachers had erected huge flexi banners, Galla Satyanarayana questioned how the police could dismantle the BJP’s flexis and order them to disperse. He requested that those who broke the law be held accountable as well and opposed Allika Anjaiah, the convener of the Khammam Assembly, being sent to a police station.
