Hem 118 Tran Hung Dao St. is one of the busiest pathways connecting the main road to the beach. During the day, both tourists and locals pass through, often stopping by one of the many small cafés or restaurants along the way. One of the most popular spots is the charming breakfast restaurant Bagels ‘n Eggs, known for its fresh bagels and western-style breakfast options.

As the sun sets, the atmosphere shifts. Bars open, and the street transforms into a lively meeting point for night owls. One event, in particular, stands out: the Saturday Pool Party at The Pool Bar.

The 9 Station Hostel is one of the most popular hostels on the island and is almost always fully booked during peak season. It draws a crowd of young, adventurous people looking for a social atmosphere. The collaboration between these two venues creates a party experience unlike any other on Phu Quoc.

Each Saturday, different DJs take the stage, keeping the vibe fresh. Depending on the event, The Pool Bar invites various artists—sometimes local DJs, sometimes well-known names from Ho Chi Minh City. To kick off the season, they even flew in the entire Piu Piu Crew from Ho Chi Minh City for an unforgettable opening night.

The Pool Bar isn’t the only venue that makes Hem 118 Tran Hung Dao St. such a lively spot. This street is home to many other bars and restaurants that are especially popular with Western visitors, such as Highball Bar, a small bar hosting events almost every night, including DJs, live music, and late-night openings; The Rabbit Hole Irish Bar, a sports bar showing major sporting events with live music and free pool tables; and The Cheeky Traveller English Pub & Bar, a pub that stays open late and offers live music nearly every night…
