Both Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer reaffirmed their support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and the struggle against Russian aggression in the intense altercation, which sparked strong worldwide responses.

The media, other Ukrainian officials, and WH officials all observed this yelling confrontation.

“The Ukrainian people have been bravely defending their country against the Russian aggressor for more than 3 years,” Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said in a post on X, detailing his opinions on the continuing war. I went to the battlefield and saw firsthand the magnitude of the sacrifices made.

“Everyone wants this conflict to finally end. Since Russia is the aggressor, Europe backs Ukraine’s attempts to bring about a fair and sustainable peace! He added, “#westandwithukraine.”

His views on X were repeated by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who emphasized that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was unlawful and unjustified.

“Russia attacked Ukraine unlawfully and without cause. Ukrainians have been fighting bravely and tenaciously for the last three years. We all care about their struggle for democracy, freedom, and sovereignty. “Canada will remain committed to supporting Ukraine and Ukrainians in their pursuit of a fair and sustainable peace,” he said on X.

Using the hashtag #StandWithUkraine, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg also expressed his support, while Romania’s interim president Ilie Bolojan emphasized that “Ukraine is crucial for the security of Europe.”

Austria’s Federal Chancellor and Foreign Minister, Alexander Schallenberg, posted on X the message, “#StandWithUkraine.”

“The security of Ukraine is crucial for the security of Europe,” said Romania’s acting president, Ilie Bolojan. To defend our principles, freedom, and peace, we must all unite.

Natasa Pirc Musar, the president of Slovenia, said on X that his country is “firm in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty.”

The values and observance of international law and international relations are upheld in Slovenia. These principles and the cornerstones of diplomacy are undercut by what we saw in the Oval Office today,” she remarked.

“Our support for Ukraine’s sovereignty is unwavering. Again, the aggressor is Russia. We must uphold and defend democratic values, making sure they are represented in our deeds and dealings with others across the world. The moment has come for Europe to pave the way toward peace in Ukraine. In accordance with the UN Charter, international law, equity, and most importantly, decency,” she said.

A pact that would have established a joint US-Ukraine fund to invest in the extraction of the nation’s rare-earth mineral resources was scheduled to be signed by Trump and Zelensky. An agreement on rare earth minerals, which are used to produce a range of modern items, was the focus of Friday’s meeting.
