The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 came to an end with India lifting the trophy and wearing the coveted white blazer in Dubai — despite the host nation being Pakistan. Yes, Pakistan! The country that got to play only two games — one in Dubai and one in Pakistan — which saw them exit the tournament they were hosting, while their third game was washed out.

Fans had been joking that India not only knocked Pakistan out of the Champions Trophy but also took the final out of Pakistan. And now, adding salt to the wound, Indian fans are flaunting their victory online. 

On X (formerly known as Twitter), many Indian fans couldn't resist mocking Pakistan — not just for their early exit but also for the absence of any PCB representatives during the prize distribution ceremony in Dubai. As India received their medals, trophy, and the coveted white blazer, the panel on stage was predominantly Indian, including ICC president Jay Shah.

One said, "Pakistan delivered the Champions Trophy to India successfully."

Another quipped, "After the presentation, the screen showed 'CHAMPIONS TROPHY. PAKISTAN.' This is cruel trolling by the ICC."

One fan also stated, "Was this Champions Trophy happening in Pakistan??? Final not in Pakistan... Pak team didn't even reach SF... No PCB official on stage for the presentation???
