The people of the national capital Delhi will soon start getting the benefit of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) scheme. Now preparations have been completed to implement this scheme in Delhi.
According to the news, on March 18, an agreement will be signed in this regard between the National Health Authority (NHA) of the Central Government and the Health Department of the Delhi Government. With this happening, the people of Delhi will also get the benefit of this scheme. According to the news, the poor of Delhi will be given the benefit of this scheme on the basis of the socio-economic census conducted in the year 2011. After implementation, about six and a half lakh families of Delhi will get the benefit of this scheme.
The benefit of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) will also be available to the elderly above 70 years of age, Asha workers and Anganwadi workers. Under this, people will get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
