A family in Khuldabad, Maharashtra has been taking care of Aurangzeb's grave for generations. A family member said that his family has been taking care of this grave for 300 years. However, they do not get any government salary or allowance for this.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has also announced to demolish Aurangzeb's grave. On the other hand, there is a family that has been taking care of Aurangzeb's grave for many years.

A family has been taking care of Aurangzeb's tomb in Khuldabad, a city in Aurangabad, Maharashtra for the last 300 years. A person named Parvez Ahmed from the same family said that they are hereditary servants. They have been taking care of the maintenance of the tomb for generations. He said that they do not get any government salary or allowance for this.

There is no money for care

He further said that his family does not get any money for maintenance from the central government, state government or Wakf. In all these years, no one has come to tell the people living here that they should not live here. There has always been peace and tranquility in the area. On festivals, programs of the Muslim community are also organized here, in which a large crowd of people gathers.

Maintaining the grave for 300 years

Parvez Ahmed said that the number of visitors coming here is not much. People come here only to see the Ajanta Ellora caves. Some of them are tourists too. No one else comes. On one hand, this family has been taking care of the tomb for 300 years. On the other hand, there is talk of destroying Aurangzeb's tomb. Aurangzeb was buried in Khuldabad of Sambhajinagar after his death.
