New Delhi . The government has once again extended the last date of application for Prime Minister Internship Scheme. According to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, now youth can now apply for this scheme by 31 March 2025. Earlier this last date was fixed on 12 March 2025. The second phase of this scheme has started from February 2025, for which applications are being sought.
In the second phase, more than 1.25 lakh posts have been made available for internship by companies. In a total of 25 areas, youth will get an opportunity to do internships. This includes areas such as banking, automobile, aviation, agriculture, pharma, gems and jewelery, IT, housing, petroleum, FMCG and infrastructure.
According to the ministry, the purpose of this decision is to provide extra time to the youth who have not been able to apply on time due to lack of technical problems, lack of information, or other reasons. The main objective of this scheme is to provide employment opportunities to one crore youth in the next five years. Under this scheme, the youth are given the opportunity of 12 months internship in the top-500 companies in the country>
How to apply
1. Go to the official website of PM Internship Scheme (PMINTERNISHIP.Mca.gov.in).
2. Click on the register link, which will open a new page.
3. Fill the registration details and click on submit.
4. After registration, make your profile by entering your educational qualification and other necessary details.
5. Select the option as per your choice from the available internship opportunities. Applicants can apply for a maximum of three internship opportunities.
6. After examining all the information, the interested applicants submit their application.
