An actress shared one such incident from her life when she almost had a scary life threatening incident but was saved by her co-actor on a film set. Ayesha Jhulka one of the famous actress of the 90s era has been a part Aamir Khans major blockbuster Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander. She did quite a few films but eventually quit her career. Recently in an interview Jhulka shared a chilling incident where she experienced a near death experience but was saved by Salman Khan. A Life Altering Incident on Film Set During the shoot of Kurbaan (1991) Salman and Ayesha were scheduled for a dance sequence on the railway track. Administering a shoot schedule entails several approvals permissions etc for respective locations. While today everything is more accessible and people are almost a call away in the 90s walkie talkie helped the crew communicate for everything. Citing the comparison Jhulka spoke with Bollywood Bubble recalling Back then we didn’t have walkie-talkies—signals were given using handkerchiefs. We were shooting the song ‘Nahi Padhni Mujhe ABC’ in Igatpuri a location far from a typical railway station. Salman was dancing on the tracks while I was performing inside them. Since it was a goods train route we had secured permission and the train was supposed to stop for a short duration. The plan was for us to move when the signal was given but with the loud music playing we completely missed it. Further explaining the incident the actress shared how Khan jumped to pull Jhulka away from the track and she missed what could have a fatal accident by a whisper. All I remember is Salman yanking me with such force that it felt like my body had scattered into pieces. He had heard the train approaching—maybe others had too—but everything happened so fast that I couldn’t comprehend what was happening. Later everyone told me ‘Salman just saved your life’ but in that moment I was too stunned to react. I even laughed—it was a nervous habit of mine. Meanwhile Salman was furious shouting at the crew because he too could have been caught in the shot she stated. When Ayesha Jhulka started her career she received decent offers and the film with Aamir Khan put her on the map. In 1993 signed a movie with Mithun Chakraborty titled Dalaal. Jhulka had agreed for the film despite her mothers refusal. The film had certain bold scenes at that time and were played by her body double as per News18 Hindi report. Post that she started receiving offers offers from B-grade films. Jhulka was once at a career high with decent roles and experience of working with actors like Salman Khan Aamir Khan Akshay Kumar etc. Later she was reported to be in a relationship with Armaan Kohli and this was once a talk of the town. The couple was said to getting married but they split.
