Liquid diet (winter)
Cold beverages can spoil the throat in winter. In such a situation, giving soup of tomatoes, beet, spinach or other vegetables to children is beneficial. Coconut water and tomato soup is also a good option.
Stuffed paratha
Children often avoid green leafy vegetables. Parantha can be made by mixing spinach, fenugreek, bathua, and mustard greens in flour. Serve them with tomato or green coriander chutney.
Make tikki instead of bread
Bread or tikki made of millet and maize flour is rich in nutrition. In these tikkis, spinach, fenugreek, bathua or other seasonal vegetables can be made. Bread, dhokla and tikki made from multicine flour can also be given to children.
Tasty laddu
It is not necessary to feed laddus made of glue, dry fruits or flour to children in winter. You can make laddus by adding dates, sesame, coconut, milk, chocolate or vanilla flavor. The variety of puffed up laddus can also be changed.
Eat it too
Sprouts are a good option. Give sprouted gram and moong to children. Apart from this, salad of bajra or maize khichdi and seasonal vegetables is also good. Carrot, gourd, and potato pudding are also preferred in winter.
