New Zealand's star batter Mark Chapman was on the verge of making history with his explosive performance in the third T20I vs Pakistan in Auckland.
He missed out on his second T20I hundred against the Men in Green, having been dismissed for 94.
However, it was an explosive knock as none of the Pakistan bowlers looked effective against him.

However, his innings ended in the 13th over when Afridi deceived him with a well-executed slow ball.

Chapman's departure from the crease triggered a domino effect on New Zealand's batting order.
Following his exit, the team lost key players Mitchell and Kyle Jamieson in quick succession, having been reduced to 164/7.
However, skipper Michael Bracewell played a vital 31-run knock as the Kiwis finished at 204/10 in 19.5 overs.
Haris Rauf dismissed three batters.
It must be noted that NZ are 2-0 up in the five-match affair.

Chapman's 94 came from 44 balls as he smoked 11 fours and four maximums.
He missed out on becoming the first batter to score two T20I centuries against Pakistan, having scored 104* in the 2023 Rawalpindi match.
