Delhi University organized a webinar on graduation admissions in which students were informed that they would have to appear for the Common University Entrance Test- UG (CUET) in the same subjects that they studied in class 12. Tomorrow, March 22 is the last date to register for CUET UG 2025. After this, the National Testing Agency will close the application window.

Many students and parents participated in the webinar organized by DU, in which officials of the DU admission branch answered the questions of the students and parents. The webinar focused on graduation admissions for the upcoming academic session, and was addressed by DU Dean of Admissions Haneet Gandhi and Joint Dean Anand Sonkar. He urged the students to fill out their application form carefully and ensure all the correct details including name, parents' name, category, and clear photo picture and digital signature.

CUET UG 2025: Students can choose only 5 subjects

Honeet Gandhi said that this year students can choose only five subjects in CUET, which includes 37 subjects including the General Aptitude Test. It is important to choose subjects in CUET that match the subjects studied in 12th.

Answering the question of a science student who wishes to pursue a degree in commerce, Gandhi said that for B.Com (Hons), students must have either Mathematics or Accountancy as a subject in 12th. Without these subjects, they are ineligible for B.Com (Hons), but can apply for the B.Com program.

He advised the students to visit the official website of DU for any information related to admission. Delhi University offers 79 undergraduate programs in its 69 affiliated colleges, admission to which is done through CUET UG scores.
