Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava is proving to be an unstoppable force at the box office! As it wraps up its fifth week, the historical epic has amassed a jaw-dropping Rs 567 crore-and it's still going strong.

It is now eyeing the Rs 600-crore mark and should cross it in no time. Notably, the Laxman Utekar-directorial saw a significant drop in its earnings on day 23, its 6th Friday.

According to the latest update from industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava collected around Rs 1.02 crore on its 36th day in theatres, marking a drop of approximately 54.67 per cent from Thursday's earnings. With this, the film's total box office collection now stands at Rs 573.87 crore, though these numbers may see slight adjustments as final data comes in.

On March 21, the Hindi version of Chhaava recorded an overall occupancy of 8.68 per cent, while the Telugu version-which hit screens much later-saw a slightly higher occupancy of 11.30 per cent.

The Vicky Kaushal's film minted Rs 33.35 crore (Hindi: Rs 30.05 crore; Telugu: Rs 3.3 crore) in its 5th week. On Thursday, the film made a business of Rs 2.24 crore (Hindi: Rs 2 crore, Telegu: Rs 25 lakh).

The India net collection of Chhaava on day 35 stood at Rs 572.85 crore. While its worldwide collection on day 35 was Rs 773.25 crore, its overseas collection was Rs 90.50 crore. The India gross collection of Chhaava was Rs 682.75 on March 20.

Chhaava is the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, smashing past the Rs 700 crore mark globally.

Chhaava is a historical action film based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire, who is played by Vicky Kaushal. An adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant, it is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. The cast also includes Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. The film score and soundtrack album are composed by A. R. Rahman while the lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil and Kshitij Patwardhan.

Chhaava was made tax-free in Goa and Chhattisgarh. Last month, PM Narendra Modi had praise the Vicky Kaushal movie saying, "Ye Maharashtra aur Mumbai hi hai jisne Marathi filmo ke saath saath, Hindi cinema ko ye unchai di hai. Aur in dino toh, Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai. (Maharashtra and Mumbai have elevated Hindi cinema along with Marathi films. And these days, Chhaava is making waves)."
