The recent report compiled by Indian Express, based on Forbes data, has unveiled the top ten highest-paid actors in India along with their earnings and net worth. The list includes actors from the South Indian and Bollywood film industry, and here are the astonishing figures they make per movie.

As per the report, Allu Arjun has become the most paid actor in India, demanding a whopping 300 crore Indian rupees for every film. His overall net worth is now 350 crore rupees, which makes him the industry’s top earner.

Close on his heels is Joseph Vijay, who charges between 130 crore and 275 crore rupees per movie. His net worth is a whopping 474 crore rupees, which places him at number two on the list.

The third on the list is Bollywood’s megastar superstar, Shah Rukh Khan. He is paid between 150 crore and 250 crore rupees for every film that he acts in, and his net worth comes out to an enormous 6,300 crore rupees.

Fourth on this list is the legendary Rajinikanth from Indian cinema. His fee for each film amounts to about 270 crore rupees, and his net worth comes out to about 430 crore rupees.

Aamir Khan is ranked at number five, and he demands between 100 crore and 175 crore rupees per project. His net worth is 1,862 crore rupees, making him one of the richest stars in the industry.

Prabhas is ranked at number six, demanding between 100 crore and 200 crore rupees per project. His net worth is estimated to be 241 crore rupees.

Ajith Kumar ranks seventh, with his fees in films between 105 crore and 165 crore rupees. His net worth is stated to be 196 crore rupees.

Surprisingly, Salman Khan is ranked at number eight. Though he is a superstar, he takes 100 crore to 150 crore rupees for each film. Nevertheless, his net worth overall is high at 2,900 crore rupees.

At number nine is Kamal Haasan, taking 10 crore to 15 crore rupees for each film. His total wealth is approximated at 150 crore rupees.

Last but not least, the tenth and final position on the list belongs to Akshay Kumar. His earnings per film are between 60 crore and 145 crore rupees, while his net value stands at almost 2,500 crore rupees.

The listing points to South Indian actors as the highest earner, led by Allu Arjun and Joseph Vijay ahead of the largest Bollywood celebrities. Although Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are among the richest stars because of the longevity of their careers and corporate interests, Indian cinema trends signal an increasing reach of South Indian movies, which have been drawing huge box-offices in the past few years.
