Virginia. A 56-year-old Indian-Origin person and her 24-year-old daughter were shot dead inside a shopping center in Virginia, America. The police have arrested a suspect in connection with the firing. When the firing incident took place, Pradeep Kumar Patel and his daughter were working in the store on Lankford Highway in Ekomac County. The Ekomac County is located on the east coast of Virginia.
According to US media reports, the Ekomac County Sheriff Office said that the firing incident was reported after 5:30 am on March 20, on which the deputy was sent to the spot. It states that when they arrived, the representatives found an irresponsible person suffering from gunshot wounds.
The statement of the Sheriff Office said that when the policemen reached the spot, a person was found lying on the floor in the shopping center, there were marks of bullet wounds on his body and he had died. During the search of the shopping center, policemen also found a woman injured by bullet. The person was declared dead at the scene of the incident. At the same time, the woman was taken to the Centra Norfolk General Hospital, where she died.
One suspect arrested in firing incident
