Hiralal was born in 1912 in Lahore a neighboring country. He was fond of acting since childhood. It is also said that he wanted to work as a villain and not a hero from the beginning. He found the role of Ravana in Ramleela the most interesting. Then whatever he thought happened. His fate also pulled him into the roles of a villain and he gained a lot of fame. Hiralal started acting through drama. He used to do Ramleela earlier. Then he entered films in the year 1928. This means that the first film Raja Harishchandra was released in India in 1913 and a few years later Hiralal also became active in films. He debuted with Shankardev Aryas film Daughters of Today. Bollywoods first villain You will be surprised to know that Hiralals first film was also the first Pakistani film with which Lollywood began. After this Hiralal appeared in Abdur Rashid Kardars Safdar Jung where he played the role of a Pathan. This was the time when silent films used to be released. Madhubala was opposite him in the film. Where he destroys everyone due to greed. Later he played the role of a dacoit and a murderer and proved that no one can be a better villain than him. Sons death ruined family Talking about Hiralals personal life he married Daraparani in 1945. They had 5 sons and a daughter. The worst thing happened to him when his 35-year-old son Indra daughter-in-law and grandson died in the blast of an  Air India flight in 1982. This son was the same whom you saw as Chandans younger brother Omkar in the film Nadiya Ke Paar. Hiralal Thakur also supported the country He also participated in the freedom struggle of the country. At the age of 14 he became an activist for the Indian National Congress. Then he supported the country along with Bhagat Singh and Lajpat Rai. Hiralal died in the year 1981.
