Sunny had given 13 flop films like Chup, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Blank, Bhaiya Ji Superhit, Mohalla Assi, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, Poster Boys, Ghayal Once Again, I Love NY, Dishkiyaoon, Mahabharat, Singh Saab The Great and Yamla Pagla Deewana 2. Not a single film of his worked from 2013 to 2022.

Before this, in 2011, only his Yamla Pagla Deewan was a hit. But even before that, many films were flops. He had given many films like Khuda Kasam, Hello Darling, Right Yaaa Wrong, Fox, Heroes, Kafila, Fool and Final, Big Brother, Naksha, Teesri Aankh- The Hidden Camera, Jo Bole So Nihal, Lakir, Khel, Jaal, The Heroes, Karz, Jaani Dushman, 23rd March 1931 Shaheed, Maa Tujhe Salaam, Kasam, Yeh Raste Hain Pyar Ke. 

His 2001 film Gadar was also a hit. However, before Gadar, he had given 9 flop films. Farz, Champion, Dillagi, Arjun Pandit, Pyar Koi Khel Nahin, Salaakhen, Jor, Kahar and Pyar Ho Gaya were also not able to do wonders at the box office.

Now after Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is going to be seen on screen again. His film Jaat is releasing on 10th April. The trailer of the film has been released. Randeep Hooda will be seen in the role of villain in this film.
