Laurence Fox charged with a sexual offence as Met Police issues statement

He is due to appear in court next month after the alleged incident occured following an online argument with the Big Brother contestant.

Section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 makes it illegal to intentionally share sexual images of someone without their consent, with the airm or causing alarm distress, or humiliation, or for sexual gratification. Fox could face up to two years in prison if he is convicted, as well as being put on the Sex Offenders Register.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "A man has been charged with a sexual offence following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.

"Laurence Fox, 46, will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 24 April charged with an offence contrary to section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

"The charge relates to an image that was posted on a social media platform in April 2024."

The photo in question, taken without Narinder's knowledge or consent, was taken in 2009 when she was getting out of taxi.

She reported it to the police, sparking an 11-month investigation by the Met. The Good Morning Britain panelist said it left her feeling "violated, humiliated and degraded".

Fox has not commented publicly on the charge.
