The railway administration has announced the running of special trains and extra halts at strategic stations to improve customer convenience. According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, chief public relations officer, train 05299 Muzaffarpur-Tiruchirapalli Special would pass via Aishbagh and Gorakhpur.

On March 29, it will leave Muzaffarpur at 14:00 and go via Hajipur, Chhapra, and Siwan before arriving in Gorakhpur at 20:10. It will leave Aishbagh at 01:20 on the second day, with a halt at Kanpur Central at 03:00. From there, it will go via Jhansi, Bhopal, Nagpur, and Balharshah. It will depart Vijayawada at 04:30 on the third day and arrive in Tiruchirapalli at 18:30.

Similar to this, the 05581 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Terminal Special would leave Darbhanga at 18:30 on April 2 and go via Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, and Sitapur before arriving at Anand Vihar Terminal at 18:00 the following day.

In addition, from March 28 to April 26, 2025, the Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharata Special will run 27 trips on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (excluding Tuesdays). The train will leave Lucknow at 14:15 and go via Sultanpur, Varanasi, Ghazipur City, Ballia, and Suremanpur before arriving in Chhapra at 21:30.

The railway administration has also arranged a five-minute stop for devotees at Maihar station on the West Central Railway’s Jabalpur division during the Navratri Festival.
