Material (Navratri Special, Dry Fruit Halwa Recipe)
- Wet dry fruits (Almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins) – ½ cup
- Ghee -2-3 tablespoons
- Water chestnut flour – ½ cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Honey – As per taste
- cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon
- Saffron threads (optional) – 1-2

Method (Navratri Special, Dry Fruit Halwa Recipe)
- First of all, grind all dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins) and grind it into small pieces.
- Put 2-3 tablespoons of ghee in a pan and heat it.
- When the ghee is hot, add water chestnut flour and fry it well. Keep roasting it till the color of the dough becomes light golden.
- Now add 1 cup of milk to this roasted dough and mix well. Allow the milk to cook until it is completely absorbed in the flour.
- Now add ground or chopped dry fruits and mix well.
- Add honey or sugar and sweeten the halwa. If you want, you can also add a little cardamom powder, which will increase the taste of the halwa.
- If you are using saffron, soak it in a little milk and mix it in the halwa.
- Allow the halwa to cook on low flame till it becomes thick and ghee comes up.
