Kubbra Sait is one of the most celebrated actors in B-town. Sait shot to fame after she appeared in Sacred Games featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. Her character ‘Kuku’ was adored by people and after that Sait established herself in the Bollywood industry. While many may think that Saits first acting project was Sacred Games Kubbra actually made her debut with Ready released in 2011. The movie also starred Asin and Salman Khan in key roles. Over the next few years she featured in different films. However do you know that shooting an intimate scene in Sacred Games was quite tough for her? In an interview Kubbra opened up about how Anurag Kashyap helped her relax while shooting the particular scene. During a conversation with Times Now Kubbra revealed that after she auditioned for the role she was informed that there would be a scene where she had to take off her clothes. The actress said I was told that the scene would be shot very beautifully. When you have a great team to work with you can never go wrong. Kubbra Sait further shared that before shooting this scene Anurag Kashyap made her drink a glass of whiskey and then the lines were recited with full emotions. He asked her to perform the scene seven times and after each take he would come up to her and apologize saying Im sorry for making you do this so many times. Just one more time one more time… please don’t hate me because of this scene. It’s only to make it look perfect. Kubbra said that she doesn’t regret her decision and believes that it allowed her to explore different aspects of the film industry. She also mentioned that working with a director like Anurag Kashyap was a great experience for her. During the shooting of this scene the set was kept highly controlled and only a limited number of people were allowed to be present. Kubbra shared that after performing the scene she became very emotional and cried because it was a significant experience for her.
