Peshawar: The army there has been disturbed by the continuous terrorist incidents in Pakistan. Due to this, the Pak Army has launched a big campaign against the terrorists. In the same sequence, Pakistani security forces attacked a drone on the hideout of terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The attack has been confirmed to kill 12 terrorists, but unfortunately some common citizens also lost their lives, including women and children. The Pak Army has also confirmed the death of ordinary citizens in this attack.
The provincial government said in a press release that a campaign was carried out at the hideouts of terrorists in the remote hills of Katlang area of Mardan district on Saturday morning. This action was carried out under “campaign against terrorism”. The government confirmed the casualties of common citizens in the attacks and indicated that they could also include women and children.
According to the official report, 12 terrorists were killed during the campaign. The press release issued on Saturday stated that the campaign was run on the basis of “reliable intelligence information” on the hideout of terrorists. The release mentions that many terrorists were killed in this campaign, which were associated with active terrorist activities in the region. However, the reports later confirmed that the place that was targeted, the common citizens, including women and children, were present. As a result, some ordinary citizens were also casualties.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that the death of innocent civilians during the campaign is extremely tragic and condemnable. The government is providing necessary medical assistance to the injured and is committed to relief and compensation to the victim families.
