Earlier today, Ranveer Allahbadia, who runs the popular YouTube channel BeerBiceps, shared his first post on Instagram after the India’s Got Latent controversy. Without divulging details, Ranveer hinted at a “rebirth" and a “new chapter" in life. Hours later, he posted a new video, announcing his comeback with The Ranveer Show.
Addressing “Dear India", Ranveer Allahbadia first thanked the audience for their support. He further mentioned how the “forced break" taught him to live with patience. He added how he understands the huge responsibility that is mounted on his shoulders.
Talking about resuming work, Ranveer said that he is rewriting his show and is being extremely mindful of the content he will produce. He also spoke about surrendering to God when his mental health took a toll on him after the controversy. Appreciating his team, the YouTuber revealed how not a single member from his team resigned during his tough time. He expressed how he never looked at this phase as a punishment, rather, he took it as a gift from God.
As he started his new chapter, Ranveer appealed to the audience to give him and work another chance. “We will improve our podcast quality, and like every week, 4 episodes will come, focusing on India’s rich history, culture, and personal growth topics," he said, as he signed off by thanking the audience for their love. Here is the video:
In January 2025, Ranveer Allahbadia appeared on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent and asked a contestant an inappropriate question about parental sex and intimacy. The question which drew flak was: “Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?"
After the incident, a police complaint was filed against Ranveer, Samay, and the other co-judges featured in the episode, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija. While Ranveer issued multiple apologies on social media, Samay responded by removing India’s Got Latent episodes from YouTube.
