Gemini 2.5 Pro is an experimental AI model that can create images.
The Ghibli style artwork caught frenzy with ChatGPT and other AI models are slowly trying to catch up with OpenAI. We already told you that the image generation on ChatGPT 4o is available for free, and Google is the latest tech giant to bring the feature to its new Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model for free.
The new Gemini version was introduced in March and the company has already made it available for free and you just need a Google account to try it out on the web or the mobile app.
Google even says Gemini 2.5 Pro is the most-advanced model it has developed that is suited for complex tasks.
The new Gemini model is currently offered in an experimental version and Google claims this is best used for complex tasks. The AI chatbot works like any other version available in the market these days. You simply have to feed a text prompt, in this case, to generating images which is done using the Imagen AI tool from the company.
But the big question that everyone would be asking about the new free AI model is, can it Ghibli-fy images? The answer is yes, but just like the ChatGPT 4o free version, you have a limit on the number of AI images Google will let you create using the free account.
The chatbot will also prompt you to try Gemini Advanced which is the premium version that Google is offering at no cost for the first month and Rs 1,950 per month after the trial period expires.
