Fenerbahce Beko Men’s Basketball Team will host Spanish side Barcelona in Round 33 of the EuroLeague Wednesday at the Ulker Sports and Event Hall.
The match will tip off at 8:45 p.m. (local time) as Fenerbahce Beko continues to assert its dominance in the EuroLeague. Currently at the top of the standings, the Turkish team has earned a playoff berth with 22 wins and 10 losses.
In contrast, Barcelona sits in seventh place with a record of 18 wins and 14 losses. The Spanish club will need to push hard to secure their spot in the postseason.
Earlier this season, Barcelona defeated Fenerbahce 90-63 on their home court.
Ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Fenerbahce’s head coach Saras Jasikevicius highlighted Barcelona’s offensive power:
“Barcelona is a very strong team, and right now they are fighting for their lives to reach the playoffs. They are one of the best offensive teams in EuroLeague, scoring at least 90 points in every game. So, this could be a very long night for us.”
