Washington [US]: At CinemaCon 2025, actress and singer Scarlett Johansson provided information on “Jurassic World Rebirth.” She revealed information, video, and never-before-seen images for the most recent entry in the Jurassic movie series, which began with Jurassic Park over 30 years ago.
For the last fifteen years, being in a Jurassic film has been a longtime goal. “I would reach out and say, ‘I’m available here,’ whenever I heard that they were making a movie,” Johansson stated, adding that she was willing to take any role, according to People.
With the release of the first trailer for “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” which is set to open in theaters on July 2, 2025, the “Jurassic World” series is getting ready for its next major blockbuster.
“Jurassic World: Rebirth,” which was directed by Gareth Edwards, is based on a story by David Koepp, who penned the first “Jurassic Park” movie. Michael Crichton invented the characters.
He spoke about how he became interested in making the movie, saying, “I had an unusual disease as a kid that made me watch ‘Jurassic Park’ at least ten times a year. “Until last year, when I got this amazing email with a screenplay attached, I thought there was no chance of a cure,” People said.
The filmmaker was praised by the actress for making the movie as “realistic and authentic as possible” and for filming it in “real isolated locations.” According to the filmmaker, he intended the viewer to experience the film as a “roller coaster ride”
The movie, which takes place five years after the events of ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ (2022), examines a future in which dinosaurs find it harder to survive on Earth, according to the site.
Consequently, the remaining species are confined to habitats that are similar to those in which their ancestors flourished. Three of the planet’s largest animals—one from the sea, one from the land, and one from the sky—are to have their genetic material collected by a group of experts.
According to People, these animals might provide essential genetic material for a medication that could save human lives.
The movie, which stars Mahershala Ali, Scarlett Johansson, and Jonathan Bailey, gives the “Jurassic World” series a new dimension. The story is propelled by Johansson’s portrayal as Zora Bennett, a secret operations specialist on a dangerous mission.
David Koepp, who wrote the script for the 1997 sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and the original 1993 Steven Spielberg picture, which was based on Michael Crichton’s book, is the film’s author.
Panels for Fantastic Four, Mission Impossible, and Scream 7 were also shown at the CinemaCon event held at Caesar’s Palace.
According to People, Jurassic World Rebirth will open in cinemas on July 2, 2025.
