Solar Panel Scheme: Due to rising electricity rates, electricity bills have spoiled the budget of the people. In such a situation, people were expecting many things from the government to get rid of it. Given this, the government has implemented a special scheme, under which subsidy (PM Surya Ghar Yojna Subsidy) is also being given.
Now you too can take advantage of this scheme and make the electricity bill zero, that is, you will not have to pay even a rupee bill for electricity. Electricity will be produced and supplied at home itself. To take advantage of this scheme (PM Surya Ghar Yojna), you have to complete some procedures. The government aims to provide the benefits of this scheme (PM Surya ghar muft bijli yojna) to as many people as possible.
This is the government's plan -
Let us tell you that some time ago, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the 'Rooftop Solar Scheme' or 'PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana' to get rid of electricity bills to the citizens of the country. The benefit of this scheme can be availed by following some rules.
Under this scheme, the government aims to illuminate 1 crore houses. Under PM Surya Ghar Yojna, rooftop solar panels are installed on the roofs of houses for additional power generation and supply. Under the scheme, 300 units of free electricity will be given every month. People are also given subsidies according to the meter capacity.
300 units of electricity will be available free-
Under PM Surya Ghar Yojana, a subsidy will be given by the government for solar panels. For this, 2 kW rooftop solar can be installed. For this, you will have to spend Rs 47000. On this, the government will give a subsidy of Rs 18000 (govt subsidy scheme), according to this, the customer will have to pay Rs 29000 from his pocket to get rooftop solar installed.
The subsidy is available on a 3 kW panel-
This gift given by the central government will light up the homes of many beneficiaries. To avail of this scheme, you must have 130 square feet of space. If the total area for the rooftop solar panel system is 700 square feet, then you will have to apply for a 3 kW panel.
For this, Rs 80,000 will have to be spent to install the meter and solar panel. The subsidy amount on this will be Rs 36,000. You will have to spend less than Rs 50,000 from your pocket. The maximum subsidy on a meter of more than 3 kW capacity has been fixed at Rs 78,000 (subsidy on solar panels).
Middle-class people will also get the benefit-
The poor and middle-income middle-class people of India will get the benefit of this scheme (PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme). For this, it is necessary to have their own house. Such people will be eligible to avail the benefits by applying for this scheme (how to apply in PM Surya Ghar). Some necessary procedures will also have to be completed for subsidy. The government will spend around Rs 75000 crore on this scheme.
