Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor in Medical Colleges and Hospitals of Bihar. The application process for these posts will start tomorrow, 8th April, and will continue till 7th May. Interested candidates can apply till the last date prescribed by visiting the official website of the Commission .

The Commission has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 1711 Assistant Professor posts. All the posts are to be filled in various departments under State Health Services. The total posts include 25 posts for medical specialties, 125 posts for anesthesiology, 120 posts for medicine, 120 posts for gynecology and obstetrics, and many other posts.

BPSC Assistant Professor Vacancy 2025 Eligibility Criteria: What should be the qualification?

Candidates applying for Assistant Professor posts should have an MDS, MS, DNB, and MDS degree in the relevant subject. At the same time, the applicant should have at least three years of teaching experience as a Senior Resident or Tutor in a recognized medical college or hospital.

BPSC Assistant Professor Vacancy 2025 Selection Process: How will the selection be done?

Applicants will be selected for these posts based on merit based on interviews. Merit will be prepared based on educational qualification and marks obtained in the interview. 10 marks will be given to the candidate for experience and 6 marks for interview.
