MP: Hanuman Jayanti in Guna, stone pelting on Shobha Yatra, many injured, incident near mosque, police force stationed

During a Shobha Yatra on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, stone pelting created an atmosphere of tension. Security has been increased after this incident. Officials said that the incident took place at around 7.30 pm, after which he took immediate action to bring the situation under control.

The local administration said that we were informed of stone pelting during the Hanuman Jayanti Shobha Yatra. For some time peace and order were a bit affected. He said that the administration took immediate action and in the presence of police and revenue employees, the situation near the mosque was controlled.

The procession was passing by the mosque

The administration said that at present there is complete peace system in the area. People are requested not to pay attention to any kind of rumors. Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar Sinha said that the situation is under control and policemen have been deployed in the area. The Guna SP said that the procession was passing by the Colonelganj Mosque, during which slogans were raised between the two communities. We came to know that there was also stone pelting, in which some people were injured.

Identification of miscreants based on video

The SP said that the force was sent immediately as soon as the information was received. The situation was controlled in 15-20 minutes. The miscreants have been identified on the basis of video footage. The situation is normal. We appeal to people not to pay attention to rumors.

FIR lodged against 4 people

Guna DM Kishore Kumar Kanyal said that the situation is now under control over the incident during the procession of Madhya Pradesh Hanuman Jayanti. We have come to know that 2-3 people have been injured. We are monitoring from the control room. Do not pay attention to any kind of rumors. The police have registered an FIR against 4 people.
