Bosnian Irfan Peljto will be taking charge of this UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg clash. The 40-year-old is the only one from his country to have officiated in the tournament.
Peljto has been a FIFA referee since 2015 and his first match as referee came in the year 2013 in Bosnian Premier League.
It was in 2021 that he became the first Bosnian referee to officiate a Champions league match.
