Ravi Pillai made headlines after his purchase of a new private business jet a Gulfstream G600. This ultra-luxurious jet arrived at Kochi Airport where it was welcomed with a water salute. The jet was then moved to a hangar where a priest performed ceremonies. Pillai was seen in a video shared by Manorama News explained that his reasons for buying in the G600 was to save time and avoid the lengthy airport procedures before commercial flights. Ravi Pillai’s Private Jet The Gulfstream G600 boasts has unique features like it can fly at an altitude of 51000 feet and up to a range of 12223 km. It is customized with a fully equipped kitchen added to the jet’s cost. Ravi Pillai has many other luxurious assets with him. He also owns an Airbus H145 helicopter which he was the first to acquire in India. The helicopter’s first fly took place a few years ago from Kovalam to Raviz Ashtamudi which is a luxury resort owned by Pillai. The Airbus H145 is a limited-edition model with only 1500 units produced worldwide. It is a four-blade helicopter that can carry two pilots and seven passengers. Powered by twin Safran HE Arriel 2C2 turboshaft engines it delivers a highest speed of 246 km/h and can operate at an altitude of up to 20000 feet. Ravi Pillai’s Luxurious Cars Ravi Pillai also has a collection of luxury cars. Rolls-Royce Ghost: It was purchased in 2011 and part of the Ghost Series I which is a favorite in Pillai’s garage. At his residence in Kollam Kerala he uses this car for work-related travel. Mercedes-Maybach S600: Pillai was the first person in South India to own this sedan. It has unique features like massaging seats ambient lighting an integrated perfume system and a panoramic sunroof. The S600 is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 530 BHP and 800 Nm of torque. Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography: This luxurious SUV made a grand appearance at his daughter’s wedding.
