New Delhi: The Fire Department reports that early Thursday morning, a fire started in a residential structure in the national capital’s Shaheen Bagh neighborhood.
Officials said the department got an emergency call early this morning, and eight fire tenders were sent to the location to help contain the situation.
According to reports, the fire started in household items and spread to three or four automobiles that were parked in the building’s stilt parking area. The structure is a four-story residential building with a parking structure on stilts. Officials affirmed that there have been no reported casualties in the event. Investigations are still in progress.
