The family of Taiwanese actor Jeremy Huang, best known for his role in the variety-comedy talk show “Kangsi Coming,” has confirmed his passing at the age of 32.

Huang’s sister shared the news via a social media post, according to a Sunday report from China Times cited by Znews. “It’s still hard to believe that this has happened. Our family is heartbroken and filled with regret,” her post read.
She also announced that the funeral would take place on the morning of May 3, inviting fans who admired Huang to pay their respects and remember the actor.
Huang’s sudden passing has shocked and saddened many, with fans offering condolences and messages of sympathy to his family. Just days before the news of his passing, on April 17, he shared a video on Instagram in which he appeared healthy and cheerful, dancing with a friend.
Huang began his entertainment career at the age of 15. He quickly became a fan favorite for his charming appearance and humorous, warm personality on “Kangsi Coming.”
Beyond his acting career, Huang also performed in theater and competed in idol selection programs. He once shared that to support himself financially, he worked a variety of jobs, including as a signboard holder, hairstylist, toilet paper seller, supermarket worker, and milk delivery man.
Huang revealed that his mother initially discouraged him from pursuing a career in entertainment.
“My mother didn’t support me entering the entertainment industry,” he said. “Later, when she saw me on TV, she and my sister shared this with me. Now, they are very proud of me.”
