To mark this achievement, the Japanese gaming company released a celebratory video, which controversially sparked the discussion amongst fans for a huge hint regarding the franchise’s future.
The Hidden ‘IX’ Easter Egg
What has not gone unnoticed is the wooden signpost which is briefly shown at the end of the celebratory video:
Two wooden planks form an “X” shape.
A directly aligned plank crosses below these horizontally arranged planks.
From the side, this formation is equal to the “IX”, otherwise denoting 9.
Firstly noted by the industry insider AestheticGamer (Dusk Golem), this is indeed a very clever clue.

“Gloria a los players” is one telling us, “Glory To The Players”.
Resisent Evil 9: What Are The Expectations
We know that it has been four years since the last Resident Evil: Village officially came out (which is also Resident Evil 8) and since then people have been impatiently waiting for an update on the next installment in the series.
